NEXEN Semi Plasti Emulsion

NEXEN SEMI PLASTIC EMULSION with its unique anti-fungal and easy to clean properties is the best value for money. It has a very good opacity & durability. Specially formulated to provide a smooth finish-for interior walls, ceilings, plaster, brickwork, and wall boards. Good brushing, hiding and exceptional adhesion make the paint film last for long.

SURFACE PREPARATION

Bare Masonry Surfaces

Bare masonry surfaces should be completely dry and free from dust, dirt and grease. Use a Bleach solution to treat the surface affected by fungus. Apply NEXEN wall sealer and allow thorough drying Smoothen the surface by applying NEXEN putty. Sand and dust off thoroughly. Allow all surfaces to dry completely prior to painting. Avoid painting when the moisture content and alkalinity of the walls is still high.

Previously Painted Surfaces Sound Surface

Remove unstable paint film, loose chalk by rubbing down using abrasive paper or wire brush and dust off. Prime with NEXEN Wall Sealer Fill the surface with NEXEN if putty necessary.

Severely Defected Surface

Use sand and cement mixture to repair large cracks and holes and allow thorough drying. Prime with NEXEN Wall Sealer. Fill with NEXEN putty. Scuff to make smooth and dust off thoroughly.

APPLICATION DATA

Drying Time:
- Touch Dry: 1 Hour (Depends on temperature and humidity)
- Recorting Interval: 4-5 Hours
- Theoretical Coverage: 12-14m-2 per liter per coat. (May vary depending on the substrate conditions)
- For Optimum Results - RETVIR Stain-less: Apply 1 Coat of wall Sealer before applying
- No. of Coats: 2-3
- For Optimum Results: Apply 1 coat of NEXEN Wall Sealer and 2-3 coats of NEXEN Putty before finishing with NEXEN Semi Plastic Emulsion

This is recommended method of application.Care should be taken to ensure an even application to aviod film defects.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

  • Stir well before use.
  • Application can be done by brush, roller or spray.
  • Thin (by volume) up to 30-50% with clean water for brush application, 20- 30% for roller application & 30-40% for conventional air spray
  • Clean up all equipment with water immediately after use.

SAFETY, HEALTH & ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION

  • Keep out of reach of children and away from food and drink.
  • Do not swallow the paint. If swallowed seek medical advice immediately. • Ensure good ventilation during application and drying.
  • Do not Breathe in Vapor or sanding dust. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. When applying paint it is advisable to wear eye protection. In case of contact with eyes rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
  • Wear protective clothing and mask while applying the paint. Use soap and water to clean the splashes from skin.
  • Paint must always be stored in a cool and dry place.
  • Care must be taken during transportation. Always keep container in a secure upright position.
  • Use sand to contain any spillage. Dispose of paint in accordance with the appropriate Environmental Quality Regulations.
  • Do not discharge into drains or environment.
  • Does not contain any added Lead, Mercury, Chromium and Cadmium compounds.
